Our origin story
Born in the South. Designed in the North. Built for All.
Narwhal Trading Co. is a family-owned brand founded by two brother-in-laws with an idea that started around a fire wishing a friend good luck on a deployment. It was winter cold and cold cans were making our hands colder. From there we have worked to develop a solution to keep hands warm and drinks the ideal temperature.
All of our products are designed and engineered in the North by one of our founders, and our handles are manufactured in North Carolina. Our drinkware is crafted for skiers, snowboarders, hunters, campers, tailgaters, and anyone who knows adventure doesn’t stop when the temperature drops.
The name, Narwhal Trading Co., that came from one of the founder's daughters. It is her second favorite animal. The second favorite, because Flamingo Trading Co. did not quite fit the theme of our products. As it turns out narwhals, are rather unique creatures that thrive in the Artic, travel vast distances, and are considered the unicorn of the sea. We hope to bring that same spirit to you through our products.

We design every piece with purpose—using premium materials and thoughtful innovation—to help people embrace the outdoors longer, especially when cold weather sets in.
